Apple Dumplings
Skip the apple pie and try these warm Apple Dumplings that are super simple to make and are good!

Ingredients
- Refrigerated Pie Crust - 1 box (15 oz)
- SnapDragon, peeled and cored - 4 apples
- Sugar - 1 Tbsp
- Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Butter, cut into 4 cubes - 1 Tbsp
- Light brown sugar, packed - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Allow pie crust to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly grease a 11x7 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a small bowl mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Unroll pie crusts in half.
- Place each apple on top of dough. Place a piece of butter in the core of each apple. Divide cinnamon sugar mixture and generously sprinkle the inside of each apple with cinnamon sugar mixture and a dusting on the outside.
- Fold dough around apples pinching the seams to seal the dough close.
- Place in prepared baking dish.
- Bring brown sugar and water to a low boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over apples in baking dish.
- Bake for about 50 minutes basting occasionally until golden brown.
