SnapDragon Classic Apple Pie
Ingredients
- Pie Crust (make your own or pre-made is great!) -
- SnapDragon apples (thinly sliced) - 6-7
- Sugar - 1/3 cup
- Brown Sugar (packed) - 1/3 cup
- Flour - 1/4 cup
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Ground Ginger - 1/2 tsp
- Ground Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
- Egg White (optional for egg wash) - 1
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375.
- Combine ingredients into your pie crust.
- Top with a second crust and cover edges with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes with foil around the edges. Then remove and bake for an additional 20 minutes -until bubbly and golden brown.
- Cool on rack and serve with vanilla ice cream!
