Whole-Grain SnapDragon Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- Whole-Grain SnapDragon Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake -
- white whole-wheat flour - 1 3/4 cups
- brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- milk of choice - 1/2 cup
- unsweetened applesauce - 1/2 cup
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- SnapDragon apple-chopped - 1 cup
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- Cinnamon Streusel Topping -
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- white whole-wheat flour - 1/4 cup
- brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- melted butter - 2 tsp
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan or small glass baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Mix together all ingredients for cinnamon coffee cake and stir well.
- Mix together ingredients for cinnamon streusel topping until crumbly.
- Pour batter into pan, top with streusel mix and bake for about 30 minutes until cake is cooked through.
- Let cool for about 15 minutes and slice.
